Dream Run

There will be a dream run for the kochiites. It will be a 3 km race. If any citizen thinks he/she is not capable of running 10 kms, still they have the opportunity to run for kochi to express their passion towards their city. The dream run will be creating a mass participation as there is no age restrictions for the participants.

Race day timings for Dream run
7.05am - Assembly on the Maharajas stadium Ground
7.10 am - Flag off for Dream Run

Route for Dream Run
One lap at Maharajas ground, entry to P T Usha road, Turn right to M G Road towards the ground traffic signal. Turn right from the signal, run till Kalyan Silks. Turn right from Kalyan Silks and again entry to the Maharajas Stadium Ground.

Facilities on the Route
The following facilities are available on the Kochi Marathon course for Dream Run participants:

Water: Bottled drinking water available at drink stations along the course. Each drink station will be clearly marked.

Toilets: Mobile toilets will be stationed along the course.

Kilometer Marks: Every kilometer

Medical Aid: Ambulance will be available on the route. Runners are advised to carry their own specific prescribed medicines. YOU MUST STOP RUNNING THE RACE IMMEDIATELY IF INSTRUCTED TO DO SO BY A MEMBER OF THE OFFICIAL MEDICAL STAFF - this is in the interest of your health and safety.

Determined Runners who are slow
On Race Day, the Dream Run participants will have priority on the roads till 8.00 am. If you cannot finish the race by this time and are still determined to reach the Finish, please keep to the footpath and stay off the road as vehicular traffic on certain section of the route will commence.
